Common questions
- Is the free plan really free forever?
- Yes. 2 calendars, 2 accounts, no credit card required. Changes appear on the free plan as fast as they do on a paid one.
- Can I treat each calendar in a sync differently?
- Yes, on Pro. Open "Calendar exceptions" and any calendar in the sync can differ from the shared default on nine things: title, privacy, guests, colour, description, location, reminders, whether it shows real free/busy, and whether the copy is labelled as ours. So your own calendar can keep the real event while the client calendar in the same sync shows only "Busy". Free and Plus apply one set of rules to every calendar in a sync.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel from your dashboard settings at any time. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- What happens if I downgrade?
- Nothing is deleted. You get a week to bring your syncs and calendars down to the smaller plan's limits, and everything keeps running while you do.
- Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
- Yes. Switch from your account settings at any time. On annual you pay for 10 months and use all 12. The switch takes effect on your next billing cycle.
- What's the 7-day trial, and what happens when it ends?
- Starting a trial from either plan's "Start 7-day free trial" link gives you the full Plus or Pro plan — whichever you started it from — for 7 days; a card is required upfront. Cancel any time in that window and you won't be charged. Otherwise your card is charged automatically at the end of the 7 days and you carry on as a paying subscriber. Prefer to skip the trial? "Choose Plus" and "Choose Pro" above subscribe you directly at the paid rate from day one, no trial involved.
- What currencies can I pay in?
- Euros, US dollars, or pounds sterling. Which one you see depends on where you are, and you can switch currency when you upgrade from your dashboard.
- Can I use SYNCDATE with iCal feeds or CalDAV (iCloud, Fastmail, Infomaniak, Nextcloud…)?
- Yes, on all plans. Any standards-compliant CalDAV server works — including iCloud, Fastmail, Infomaniak, mailbox.org, Posteo, Nextcloud, and self-hosted servers. iCal feeds are supported as read-only source calendars — changes flow one-way from the feed into your writable calendars.
- What is the Team plan?
- Team bills everyone in your organization together on one invoice, and gives every seat the same sync controls Pro has — including different settings for each calendar in a sync. You add or remove people as projects start and end. Built for teams of 5 or more.
- On a team, can the person who pays see my calendars?
- No. Whoever owns the team manages billing and membership only, never the contents of anyone's calendars or how they're synced. Your calendar data stays yours. And when you sync toward a shared or client calendar, the default is Busy: others see that you're booked, not what you're doing.
- How does billing work for a team?
- One subscription for the whole team, one invoice. Seats are per person: turn someone on when they join a project, off when they roll off, and billing follows. Pricing depends on your team's size, so talk to us and we'll sort out the right number.
