Several client calendars → one hub
Every client calendar feeds one calendar you actually look at, so you can see your whole week in one place.
Plus plan.
When this is for you
You're a freelancer with a calendar per client and no single view of your week — so you double-book.
Before you turn it on
- Events flow into the hub only. Adding an event to the hub does not create it on a client calendar.
- Copies keep their original title, so anyone with access to the hub can read your client names.
- A client event marked Free arrives on the hub as Free and will not block your time.
How it works
You can point two to eight client calendars at one hub, and take on another client later by editing the same sync rather than building a second one. The hub does not need to be an empty calendar — copies arrive as ordinary events with their original titles, so you can tell a client booking from your own at a glance. If a client's calendar is one they shared with you and you cannot write to it, that is fine here: this recipe only ever reads from it.
What you'll pick
Pick every calendar you want feeding the hub. Nothing is written to these.
2–8 calendars · Read only
The one calendar you check. Everything lands here.
1 calendar · Copies land here
Setting it up
- Pick the client calendars you want feeding the hub. Nothing is written to these.
- Pick the one calendar you actually open as the hub.
- Choose "Use original title", so you can tell whose booking each block is.
Variations
Two filters you can add to this sync at any point, without rebuilding it.
Sync everything except all-day events
Add an "All-day events" exclude rule and holidays, birthdays and travel banners stay out of the calendar you sync into. It also catches birthdays from a subscribed calendar, which "Special dates from contacts" cannot — those arrive as ordinary events, so only the all-day rule sees them.
Only invitations you've accepted
Set "Which events to sync (RSVP)" to "Only-yes" and meeting requests you haven't answered stay out of the calendar you sync into until you accept them.
Set this up
The sync builder opens with this recipe's direction and settings already filled in. You pick the calendars.
